I've been using 2 threads for this, as you can see on the left side;
I decided to use 4 threads, to do the job quicker - and it seems to be working. (On the right hand side of the 'U' above)

Impatience and Problem Solving.
I've been playing around with 'Crewel' and using a 'simple' filling stitch, a painstaking process of filling in the gaps. I'm so impatient that it begins to just look messy & rushed.
I've been using 2 threads for this, as you can see on the left side;
